What about Tatton Park, Stapely Water Gardens, Dunham Massey, Arley Hall? They all have lovely spots were you can sit and enjoy the view, lovely gardens, good cafes. Or Chester, where you can lunch and enjoy a cruise on the river - nice for sightseeing. Llandudno - flat and easy for elderly and infirm people, as is St Annes.

Southport or Blackpool?

when sorry to say that Stapeley Water Gardens closed over a year ago to make way for a housing development which quite frankly we don't need angry.

seasider I went to an antiques fair at Arley Hall, and we saw a wedding party having their photos done on the lawn - beautiful surroundings. A perfect place for them smile
