I have a pack of 'cooked, peeled & ready to use' chestnuts and was intending to add them to sprouts, which I don't think I've done before.
The instructions say you can fry with bacon bits and add sprouts. My sister is a vegetarian so the bacon is out ....... will the chestnuts be a bit 'claggy' and tasteless without the tasty crispy bacon?
Should I just forget about the chestnuts?
