Don't know what a bookmark is but this morning I received an e-mail from yahoo saying that someone in the UEA had attempted to get into my yahoo account. and to change my password etc.?! Not sure whether to believe this so will ignore it as I don't use yahoo any more for my mail it just sits there being ignored

A bookmark is literally that, a way of saving a link to a page, like favourites in Windows. You use the little page with arrow symbol on the top left to make a bookmark and the book symbol on the top right to find it. I have the Gransnet Active page bookmarked.
It helps to set up folders (forums, weather, recipes etc) to put your bookmarked pages in. Hope this helps.

PS There is a free app called ipad secrets that you can download from the istore which helps.

Thanks Mamie for the clear explanation.

Whitewave - I would be very wary of the Yahoo email and if it was me I would just delete it.

I oversee some emails for my son and he regularly gets emails, all with attachments from supposedly Barclays, HSBC etc. and they say things in the header like 'your account is about to be closed' and other worrying comments.

As he does not have accounts with these Banks I know they are all spam and could be dangerous having an attachment. I delete them immediately.
