Anyone watching?

Yes I am.

I don't think it will serve much of a purpose as I think most people have made their mind up. Should be interesting though.

Well, Nigel won 57% to Clegg's 36% according to Yougov poll.
I thought Nick Clegg was very schmoozy and Nigel was slightly nervous.

I agree Lona. Both were ok-ish, but most people already know where they stand on this subject anyway.

I have to admit that Nige acquitted himself well.

For me it was evens, both were OK and tried to allow each other question and answer time. I thought tempers were kept in check and unusually they appeared to have equal air time.

I don't think the point raised that Cameron and Miliband have been cowards or 'lost out' is fair. Clegg through down the gauntlet to Farage on LBC, the point being it was the two opposing views on the EU.

Full Fact are checking 85 claims that were made in the debate. Her's an interesting fact check.

I also watched and I am looking forward to the next one on BBC. I thought Farage did quite well all things considered.

At least they didn't resort to the ridiculously childish behaviour often seen when opposing teams of MPs begin to 'debate'.
