I have an unopened box of Leonidas chocolates right in front of me .... they're 80 calories a pop.

It will take me 21 minutes to walk off each choc.

Any advice? grin

I have got a box of hotel chocolate champagne truffles I was given as a christmas present. I am allowing myself 2 on a Saturday night and still have a couple left Riverwalk. I tend to do a lot of walking/running around on a Sunday so I figure I work them off.

Riverwalk if you are hesitating about eating those chocolates, have them instead of a meal! No guilt or penance involved and the sooner they are eaten, the better! grin

I've got some Hotel Chocolat florentines which might last till this evening grin

Quick, run and put them in the bin before you can be tempted.

Only joking! Scoff the lot as quick as you like! grin

Yeah. Sit down with a book and chops for the afternoon. Diet tomorrow.

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Mon 16-Mar-15 12:51:21

Easy - go for a long walk and take the chocolates with you to munch en route

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 16-Mar-15 12:51:40

Not chops!!!! Chocs. Stupid iPad

J52 Mon 16-Mar-15 12:52:43

Allow yourself one every two days. On those days cut something out of your usual diet, eg. Pudding, mid morning biscuit etc.

Above all enjoy them. x

gillybob Mon 16-Mar-15 12:53:06

I prefer mine with apple sauce jings

gillybob Mon 16-Mar-15 12:53:28

(chops that is)

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 16-Mar-15 12:53:32

Cari!

Leave off. We are old don't you know? We are allowed to stuff our faces indulge now and then. wink

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Mon 16-Mar-15 12:55:23

Oh I am all for that jings <recalls TWO packs of Hotel Chocolat pralines that mysteriously vanished* on Friday>

*down my gullet

Riverwalk Mon 16-Mar-15 12:56:24

I'd rather have a chop! grin

Riverwalk Mon 16-Mar-15 13:04:16

I've just done a quick calculation - have to walk for about 7 miles per 6 chocolates .... I may be gone for some time!

Iam64 Mon 16-Mar-15 13:06:48

Oh dear - such helpful information about how much we have to walk to use up the calories caused by eating chocolate. I ate half a box yesterday and only did an hour this morning. The dogs will be delighted as they'll get another hour later on!

Anya Mon 16-Mar-15 13:18:24

You have to eat them stark naked in front of a full length mirror.

grannyactivist Mon 16-Mar-15 13:22:22

As I no longer eat sugar I too will take the chop! grin
Anya that would work! grin

gillybob Mon 16-Mar-15 13:27:26

Excellent idea Anya seeing the chocolate fall directly into the --muffin top--cake shelf would certainly do it for me!

Nelliemoser Mon 16-Mar-15 13:33:58

Oh but Wheni'm You do need to eat your vegetables as well, because vegetables are good for you. You will surely feel less guilt if you eat some vegetables with it. wink

whenim64 Mon 16-Mar-15 13:57:58

Guilt? Vegetables? Pass me another chocolate! grin

kittylester Mon 16-Mar-15 14:39:51

I cannot understand the problem confused

Chocolate - mouth - problem solved! Out of sight, out of mind!

NanKate Mon 16-Mar-15 14:45:56

I would put them in the freezer and eat one a day until they are all gone. Frozen chocs take much longer to eat and seem like you are eating two chocs not one, time wise (if that makes sense) hmm

Gagagran Mon 16-Mar-15 14:56:31

I thought calories didn't count if you eat the chocs quickly?

KatyK Mon 16-Mar-15 14:57:33

Well I have two bars of lovely choc given to me for Mothers Day. I have tried to resist but have just returned from DH's birthday lunch and eaten a whole bar. I will start being good tomorrow. I really will.
