Anyone else receive a private message from Royalgurl (Claudia) who claims to have been a nurse with United Nations who was rewarded well by people whose lives she saved and has millions to invest........I have a wonderful opportunity.....

Looks like I'm too cynical....... but I'll give it a miss.

KatyK Tue 11-Aug-15 16:32:24

No - but I would give it a miss too!!

soop Tue 11-Aug-15 16:46:43

Ditto!

FarNorth Tue 11-Aug-15 16:50:19

I didn't get that opportunity! Such a shame. It sounds great. grin

Yes, I've received one too. I just deleted it and barred her from sending messages to me, but I would have like to give this person a piece of my mind. What a cheek!

Lona Tue 11-Aug-15 16:59:50

Has nobody reported it? GNHQ can then remove her!

Hi all, sorry to those of you who have received messages - the user in question has been reported to us and no more private messages should be received from them.

If you have been contacted, please do delete the message if you'd like to, and don't click any links that may have been included.

AlieOxon Tue 11-Aug-15 17:14:50

Yes, me too. How about a way to report this?

Ana Tue 11-Aug-15 17:44:04

I had two from the same poster. I did look for a 'Report' button but there doesn't seem to be one for PMs, so I just deleted and blocked.

glammanana Tue 11-Aug-15 17:44:32

I've just come home from work to find my palglassortwo has also received this message and has asked me to report it as she has no internet coverage for certain times of the day I think, its a bit much when you can't relax on your hols without being bothered by these people who have nothing better to do and think we are all stupid.

annodomini Tue 11-Aug-15 18:40:50

I had that pm several weeks ago and blocked the sender.

rosesarered Tue 11-Aug-15 20:06:33

I didn't get one ( feel quite left out) perhaps she knows I have no real money.

annodomini Tue 11-Aug-15 21:13:53

Do we think this is a female, or a male masquerading as a woman?

numberplease Tue 11-Aug-15 21:43:38

Probably both, it`s more than likely a group venture.

Just to warn others that there is a major scam at the moment where LLoyds bank sends a letter to your address saying you have an amount credited to your account wrongly and to ring them on a phone no on the letter. Its addressed to the person who lives at the address (guess they looked on the electoral roll) It has LLoyds logo on the letter and comes in an envelope with bank return address on it and franked postmark. It is a scam the phone no. on it to ring back is not the bank. It is an 0800 number too. If you get one in the post ring your bank on their own number or go there with the letter. Think it will catch many people like this - its on Facebook as a scam so thought I would put it here too.
