DGS was 4 three weeks ago and has a wobbly front tooth, he has not fallen or banged it that we know. He got his first teeth at 4 months.
I cannot remember when the first teeth usually come out, dear Google says 6/7 years.
He had his dental check up 3 months ago and all was fine.
Is he just a bit early do you think?

I think 5+ is quite normal so he may have a little gap for a while but all will be well in time.

It is one of the ones which came in first.

4 is a bit unusual Felice but nothing to worry about smile
Lots of children start losing them at 5 (my DGD has lost 3) so in this case I don't agree with Mr Google wink

GC still has two first teeth in the middle of his lower jaw at eleven and a half. X-rays showed that he doesn't have any permanent teeth to push them out. He has to wait until he is 13 before the hospital will do anything about it. So sorry for him because he has really looked after his teeth. (Two molars missing in the upper jaw too!)

Obviously not one of the better Dental Schools Kitty wink

Glad I'm not alone oldgoat. I have two gaps in my lower jaw where no permanent teeth ever erupted. My DGD lost her first tooth age 7 and was one of the last in her class at school to have a wobbly tooth.

hildajenniJ did your other teeth move along to fill the gaps?

GD2 was very young when she lost her baby teeth, several before she was five. I think she has as many big teeth as her sister who is four years older than her. DS was early with his teeth, he had three by the time he was three months old but I can't remember whether he got his second teeth early too.
