I suggested Scotland but that was not well received .that was in June 2015 that I know he had them. I'm cracking up.

Oh dear!
grin

harrigran Mon 02-May-16 11:49:36

DH says they are in the pocket of the car door grin

Maybe still in a suitcase from a previous holiday?

In the garden shed? (He could have been wearing them to do some gardening and taken them off when he went in the darker shed.....)

In the dustbin - perhaps he wants new ones for Father's Day?!

Yes, they are in our car.A few weeks ago we discovered ( on cleaning out the car) an unknown pair of sunglasses in the glove compartment.Asked around famiky and friends but nobody claimed them.My DH is now wearing them, as he likes them better than his own. Sorry Stansgran you can't have them back.grin

DH is well known for leaving sunglasses all over the place ( we never get them back) so feel justified in keeping the recently found ones.

Under car seat? (if you like me don't clean it too often). In pocket of little used backpack?

Just tell him to get a new pair, then they'll turn up (sods law)

In the back of the messy kitchen drawer where everything gets shoved in.

Daisyanswerdo Mon 02-May-16 12:11:01

On top of his head?

Greenfinch Mon 02-May-16 12:37:19

With his pants and socks.

annodomini Mon 02-May-16 12:55:52

Is there a pocket in the sun visor of his car?

" Dear Saint Anthony, please come down.
Something's lost and must be found"

Charleygirl Mon 02-May-16 13:42:59

I have at least 6 pairs- one pair has to be his. He must have left them after he dropped in for a cup of coffee. The sun was shining so we sat in the rear garden.

I'll bet they got put away with my Christmas wrapping - I'll let you know in December - if I find the wrapping paper again.

mrsmopp Mon 02-May-16 14:01:25

Ask him where he was the last time he saw them.
That's where they will be. Never fails....

Elrel Mon 02-May-16 14:11:15

Probably hiding in plain sight just like my mobile which I spent ages seeking late last night. I was about to ask DS and/or DGD whether they'd accidentally taken it home with them. I was also wondering whether smallest DGD had found a new place for it!! I'm sure she would have told me but her speech is voluble, full of expression but rarely intelligible yet.
It was on the GCs' bookshelf where I almost certainly put it myself.

Hello Stansgran,

i found a rather lovely pair of sunglasses the other day . I don't know where they came from but they are mine all mine... my precious............. smile

Go and buy another pair. You will have to kill me if you want these back..

evil larf

ninathenana Mon 02-May-16 14:47:20

Could they be with D car keys ?
I'll let you know when we find those if my suspicions are right.

grannyactivist Mon 02-May-16 14:52:31

When I was talking to my foster son I searched everywhere for my phone, before I realised it was in my hand as I was speaking to him on it!! confused

Badenkate Mon 02-May-16 14:53:20

Down the back of the sofa? That's always our first place to search smile

Stansgran Mon 02-May-16 15:00:20

Def not on his head. Saying when did you last wear them brings his bp up( surely it's easier enough to remember as we've been so short of sun) I've tried the car pockets and his fishing stuff and his golf stuff. Best bet is Christmas wrapping paper Kitty. Email me in December please if they there.
He has torn the place apart and is expecting me to wave my magic wand but he's lost that too. Probably borrowed my wand to clean out a blocked drain. Ho hum. But please keep looking and if they turn up we are flying out to Cyprus on Sunday. Would you drop them off there please?

Jalima Mon 02-May-16 15:21:16

They could be in the bottom drawer of the chest we have in the hall, Stansgran, there are several pairs in there that I don't recognise!

"Dear St Anthony full of grace
Lead me to their hiding place"

(or remind me that I threw them out)

We have never known it not to work

phoenix Mon 02-May-16 15:23:17

Ask Michael MacIntyre if they are in his "man drawer" (brilliant sketch!)

Jalima Mon 02-May-16 15:25:55

mrsmopp Mon 02-May-16 15:29:58
