So, I have ordered and paid for 2 ipads on click and collect, I am collecting them tomorrow, I bought them whilst they were on offer at £30 each off and they come with the John Lewis standard 2 year warranty (same price elsewhere but 1 year warranty). JL are now advertising them at back to normal price (+£30) but with a special offer of 3 year warranty. I am wondering it it would be worth (of course it will be and I will) ask if they will give me the 3 year warranty on my purchase as well. Their price match detail does state they match on such things as warranty and I suppose they should at least match themselves, if you get what I mean...although I dont want to pay the matched increased price! (2 ipads I hear you scream!!!, 1 is for sons 40th, it was a suggestion from a Gransnetter when I was asking for ideas and the others to replace my 4 year old ipad as its beginni g to do funny things (probably from overuse!)

We should not be judgemental as to your spending habits.

Reading posts here there are folk who I would class aspoor and the opposite end of the spectrum as well.

I would keep JL to the price you ordered at.

The slogan " never knowingly etc'.

I dont shop there anymore all the good depts I used haberdashery, materials are a shadow of the former ones. There is much more value elsewhere if you can look.

The staff there I find bored!

Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Good luck.

When we bought our twin DGC two kindle fires from John Lewis, they subsequently reduced their price. I asked , and got a price match on both. I was impressed and v. pleased. Hope it works for you.
