Abbreviations

I think you can get a gyst of who's being talked about by the thread but there is a reference list on here somewhere (Im just used to it by now). Im sure someone will point out where.

Last post on that top bar is acronyms.
(Strictly speaking - they aren't). Hope it helps but saak's right, you do get used to them pretty quickly.

Granmary18 if you look up above under where it says Gransnet Forums at the far right end of the blue bar click on Acronyms and it gives a list and explanation of most of them.

After 20+years with the R.A.F i can pick them up PDQ as the Military loves Acronyms

I meant to add that the bar tanith describes isn't visible on the mobile site. If your viewing on a mobile scroll right to the bottom of the page and you can click on desk top and then view.
