Lincs - are you near?! Toffee is warming - cream going in

I agree! What's your address?

HootyMcOwlface Fri 01-Sep-17 11:37:30

That's what I was thinking, but pot doesn't say suitable for cooking, and I am a coward (and loath to waste my Thornton's toffee!) Haha! I will give it a try I think! Thank you!

if you think its too thick try letting it down with some milk until you get the consistency you're looking for.I dont think there would be an issue with extra thick..cream is cream to me

Experiment!

I think it should work. Can I be a tester?

HootyMcOwlface Fri 01-Sep-17 11:21:09

Do you know if I can use Extra Thick Double Cream to make a caramel sauce - recipe says warm double cream with toffee on the hob - and I don't have any ordinary double cream.

(I'm not being lazy, I have to wait in for a repair man to call, so can't go shopping till after he's been! If I nip down the shop no doubt he will turn up and go away again!)

Thanks! X
