I'm finding it really hard to get essential items like washing machines & microwaves with simple straightforward controls. So many have a range of complicated push button programmes, difficult to see and awkward to alter. Who on earth designs these things?? At the moment I'm trying to source a safe simple wall mounted electric heater for my BiL who has dementia. (The flat is all electric) All we need is something with an accessible on off switch and a temperature setting with thermostat, not an LED display panel. I can't find anything one anywhere! The one in the flat at present has tiny LED controls that my sister & I can only see if we kneel on the floor & we're both too old to manage that for long enough to change the complicated settings (let alone get up again afterwards!)
Anyone out there who's succeeded in finding such a heater?Recommendations most welcome!
