Knee Highs

Hi, can any of you lovely gransnetters recommend a brand of knee highs (which I still secretly think of as pop soxs!) that will last me longer than a day?
The main problem is that my toes always go through the end, so I am looking for some with reinforced toes, but being tall, I also need them to actually pull up to the knee - hate that mid-calf feel.
Before anyone suggests it, I do keep my toenails neatly trimmed!

My friend who is 5 9” wears ‘Big Bloomers’ (on line)
tights and knee highs as they do different lengths.

I'm not tall but have big feet. I buy kneehighs from John Lewis. They have a smallish range of sizes.

I dislike them, don't like the groove left by them gripping at the top and the gap when a skirt reveals the pop socks.

There is a brand called 'Silkies', which sell nice pop socks, also ankle socks as well as tights. I bought some lovely warm knee highs from M&S, but they are thick, walking socks, not what you want, I think.

The strongest knee highs I had were bought in Aldi but I haven't seen them for a while.

I got support knee highs from Lidl, great quality.
It's just your luck if they have them in stock.
