Might be a silly question.......

I know what I'd do. I'd iron it. Then bitterly regret it.

No experience Phoenix but it seems a logical idea. Maybe try a cool iron first and then a little warmer if no effect?

mine is covered with "stuff" so I never noticed if it has creases , I would just hope the warmth of the house would relax it

Just be patient, phoenix. My new one arrived a few days ago and is also creased. You just leave it on the table and the creases will gradually drop out. It helps if the room is warm.

Could maybe try blowing it with a hairdryer?

NO it has plastic in , don't iron !!!!!!!

Haven’t a clue how to get rid of the creases but you have reminded me of the expression on our cat Davy’s face when he leapt onto the table and ended up sliding off the other side covered in the cloth.

Thanks both, I'm tending towards waiting just a little longer, however I'm not known for my patience, or my ironing abilities for that matter!

Cover with a towel and iron (not too high a heat) on the reverse side.

I’ve done ours which has a sort of fabric looking backing (no idea what it is ) on the wrong side with a bath towel between a cool-ish iron and the table cloth. Left the cloth on the table to do it - we have a table protector underneath. It worked. No patience here

Rather than risk putting an iron on it try draping lengthways over your biggest radiator and turn it after twenty minutes.

Just put piles of crap on it Phoenix, the creases will soon flatten out. That's what I do.

I have also ironed out the creases on the wrong side through a towel exactly like cornergran - no patience either!!

I bought a cheap one in Asda. It was folded in a package and the creases never came out. Didn’t iron it.

Then I bought a better one in Dunelm. It’s bought by the length. Just gently folded over , or rolled. It was and is brilliant.

Love Dunelm, Coolgran65 , and bought by length is a great idea.

However, my table is circular.........

I'm still convinced warming it with a hairdryer is the best option - but do love the simple "pile it high with crap" suggestion!
