I use those bags from ebay for storing stuff in the loft etc and find them strong and well made. I have had zips go on a few but that's been after quite a bit of use helping my son move, transporting clothes and bedding etc. I find them very useful.

Get out the sewing machine and make better ones

Yes the shape and size are good and hopefully they will be stronger than the ones that fall apart after very little use.

Have you looked in local dry cleaners? Think I've seen strongish ones for sale in ours, but not sure if they were waterproof.

Yes I have but they all seem to look as flimsy and prone to the zips breaking as the ones I e seen locally and the stronger fabric ones aren’t waterproof

Have you looked at Amazon ?

I've not looked but that would be my first port of call.

GD has asked for some extra strong laundry bags (budding wedding dress designer) to transport her dress designs as part of her birthday gift. Have seen some flimsy ones in local shops so am looking for something waterproof and stronger - any recommendations please?
