New Shoes

I bought a pair of shoes from an online store. I tried them on, and they are exactly the right length, but are rather wide.
They are suede cut out pointy toed shoes.
I really like them and don't want to send them back.
My question is, can I make them narrower?
I intend to try heel grips and inner soles.
Is there any other way to make them fit better? All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Insoles might help.

I agree about insoles. Some thick invisible socks might help too, lots available on Ebay. The ones with a silicone strip around the inside stay put.

Please think carefully. My smart patent shoes were just a little loose. One fell off as I stepped on to a highish pavement. It just slipped off. I fell. Broken hip with after effects a year later!
Not particularly high heels but will never again wear heels or shoes a bit too big!!!

Probably not, they will stretch.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to return them ?. We are going to a retail park on Saturday where there is a Sketchers shop. I'll have a look there.

The young Royals always seem to wear shoes too big! But I would return them for a better, safer fit.

I like them MiniMoon and I have wide feet. Are they a 7 by any chance? grin

Sorry DanniRae, they're a size 5. They are lovely shoes, such a disappointment.

Someone has just given me two pairs of absolutely beautiful, and very expensive shoes bought in Dubai (they may even be designer ones).

I love them - and they don't fit - far too narrow.

I've had success widening shoes with the wet newspapers and freezer trick but it wouldn't work with these beauties. sad
