We are all talking about our personal feelings and experience (of course) but I am acutely aware of the difference between peachy young skin which probably needs little enhancement and the duller complexion of age, in my case with a couple of “age spots” which I forget I have until I see my reflection or a picture.
However, there was a truly gorgeous girl/young lady beside me on the train to London on Thursday, slim, very tight jeans and cropped top which left little to the imagination, tiny feet in Perspex high heeled sandals - but oh my goodness she absolutely did not need the thick “microbladed” eyebrows which are so popular with some young women , the eyelash extensions (or fakes) and the trout pout collagen plumped lips. Or indeed the dark red gel nails. I am sure she was very happy with how she looked and she turned a few heads, but there was no individuality to her.
I fear GabriellaG has a point!
