Help, I need a new pillow

I bought a bamboo pillow last year and I find it very comfortable as does Tara my cat who likes to share it. My previous one had been memory foam but I found it to be too "thick" so uncomfortable. A previous slimmer one was very comfortable.

Let me know when you find it jaym; I've been looking for the perfect pillow for years and haven't succeeded yet. I've tried memory foam (too hard and makes me too hot), duck and feather (goes lumpy and limp), firm pillows, medium pillows, U shaped, contoured pillows. Nope. Still looking. Wish you could test them before you buy, like you do a mattress.

I bought a memory foam one from Dunelm and its soft and squidgy but gives support at the same time,

Some memory foam pillows are too hard and some are softer , its best to have a good poke at them when choosing, better still if the shop sells beds too then try lying your head on one

My daughter swears by her wool pillow, not cheap but really comfortable.

I received an Octaspring True Evolution pillow free with a mattress topper and love it. They are sometimes available at a big discount on the Groupon or similar site.
The pillow is made from memory foam formed into springs and is breathable, not hot. It feels like a brick when lifted, but is so comfortable! Goodbye to stiff neck and sore ears.

Buckwheat for me, too! Never gets too hot and you can add or take away the husks to get it just right.

I splashed out on a couple of Dunlopillo latex pillows. So comfortable.

I have a buckwheat pillow too. This is my second one.
