Yorksherlass Thu 19-Mar-20 10:45:11

The one with the woman who is calling out to Graham in that awful voice , poor Graham !!

MissAdventure Thu 19-Mar-20 10:52:15

The bingo ads. All of them, but particularly the one with Paddy someone in it, and the one with the song "ga la la la, ga la la la.."

Teetime Thu 19-Mar-20 11:06:50

Cheery older people selling life insurance and funeral plans.

Pittcity Thu 19-Mar-20 13:12:32

Any ads for holidays that we can't bloomin' take!

EllanVannin Thu 19-Mar-20 13:15:51

Smarmy funeral plans. Majority of ads really. Once upon a time the ads were better than what you were watching.

travelsafar Thu 19-Mar-20 13:20:34

Yorksherlass i am with you on this i hate it and can't understand the advert.

Septimia Thu 19-Mar-20 13:30:32

Any betting/bingo/waste your money and get into debt ads.

Car adverts trying to sell to UK customers but they can't be bothered to film them with right-hand drive cars.

Ads that think they're suitable for the UK but you can tell that they were filmed in the States because of the architecture etc. Again, can't they be bothered to produce something for us?

allium Thu 19-Mar-20 13:36:21

Along with the smarmy funeral plans, equity release and the awful vodafone one doing the rounds of radio at the moment.

Curlywhirly Thu 19-Mar-20 14:04:58

Oh most definitely the woman advertising Plantur (?) Shampoo, where she whispers "women over 40" I feel like slapping her smug face, and this from someone who hates confrontation!!!

Squiffy Thu 19-Mar-20 14:16:31

Oh, me too Curlywhirly! ? Evidently being over 40 is something to be ashamed of!

yggdrasil Thu 19-Mar-20 14:28:32

I record all the programmes I want to see. Ones with ads I then fast forward. They are usually 1/4 shorter that way.
And I don't se the ads:-)

MissAdventure Thu 19-Mar-20 14:37:52

Any adverts with pretend beings in them: be they talking dogs, meerkats, cartoon people.
That's all of them, these days.

rosenoir Thu 19-Mar-20 15:31:46

Same here Yorksherlass, I am not a violent person but I want to go up those stairs and slap her.

Yorksherlass Thu 19-Mar-20 15:32:12

The my builder advert where the doors, windows and garage doors are singing “Delilah”with different words, aaargh

Feelingmyage55 Thu 19-Mar-20 15:37:43

Chocolate - I don’t need any encouragement to buy more than I already do.

Whitewavemark2 Thu 19-Mar-20 15:40:10

They all irritate me?

Juliet27 Thu 19-Mar-20 15:44:01

I don’t mind the ‘Graham’ advert as it reminds me of my poor husband being called upon many times just after I had a hip replacement operation

shysal Thu 19-Mar-20 15:51:09

The Calgon ad which was obviously not made in English, so the words don't match his lips.

Namsnanny Thu 19-Mar-20 15:51:47

Ads for 'women's' products,
Those that shout at us.
Or dance around to loud music,
Or have soppy animations.
Or sell funerals
Or stairlifts
Or animal charities with frightening pictures.
Not much left is there?

Dont mind vacuum cleaner ads though, funnily enough ,,,, I'm probably a bit odd!

Lizzies Thu 19-Mar-20 15:56:22

The Go Compare ads get me going. Just silly.

Knittynatter Thu 19-Mar-20 15:59:17

We buy any car ..... grrrr

MissAdventure Thu 19-Mar-20 16:55:13

There is an ad for denture fix where the rocking movement is demonstrated by showing a small woman dressed in a skirt and blouse, standing on a rocky denture, in someone's mouth.
How ridiculous!

Oopsminty Thu 19-Mar-20 16:58:08

Those ghastly Tena lady adverts

Especially the most recent

I really do not want to think of these ladies experiencing urine leakage during intimate moments
