Can you work out what triggered it? Has she been ill, seen someone being sick perhaps for the first time. We went through something similar with our daughter when she was about the same age. It was 23 years ago, and I can’t remember exactly, but she developed this fear around vomiting. Either her or other people. Of course, it was more prevalent around meals, I don’t think it stopped her sleeping, but that may be more to do with anxieties around being locked down. I treated it by letting her take what she wanted food wise, from my plate. Then I gave her her own plate to put it on, small portions working up, until eventually, she returned to normal. I did speak to our doctor at the time, and she said in the first instance, not to make too much of it, and to stay calm as if it’s the most normal thing in the world. If she’s actually feeling sick, then it’s most likely anxiety, but it could be worth her parents talking to your doctor for advice. All the best to you all, and hope she’s soon feeling more relaxed.
