Don't wait to fulfil your dreams. Live now, you don't know what's ahead of you.

It will be alright in the end and if it isn’t alright it’s not the end.

Best choice was early retirement and then moving to a rural location but with access to facilities in our nearest Market Town. Made new friends, have an active social life (pre-covid) live in a lovely community with great neighbours. We don't have any regrets at all.

Plan to live longer than you expect.

You were right not to want marriage and kids. Focus on your career and things will be great!

Wish we had moved here earlier instead of living in the virtual car park of north London. I also wish I had been braver when young and not been constrained by my mother’s wishes.

Peasblossom - sounds wonderful! I met my gorgeous man 40 years ago and I hope to not lose him anytime soon but I fear we have become stuck in the mud so an adventure (when allowed!) sounds ideal !

Took early retirement, sold the big house, packed my rucksack and went off to see the world.

Met a gorgeous man, bought a new house closer to the family, moved in together.

Don’t regret a minute of it! The only thing I’d regret is if I’d lusened to all those people who thought I should stay put ?
