I have been swimming in the local pool this week and another session booked for Friday. All covid rules applied, hand gels, masks, distancing, limited numbers in lanes. I think the benefits from my swim far outweigh the risks of not going as I am registered disabled, the only exercise I can do is swimming, my mobility has suffered so much in lockdown. I used to swim 3 times per week. The only funny thing was the attendant stood about 10 feet away to pass me my walking stick when I got out, I was clinging onto the ladder for dear life, I said you need to come nearer I cannot reach and if I let go, I will fall in pool! bless him, joke is , sometimes I need assistance getting in and out pool which involves close contact, yet he stood 10 feet away to pass my stick! LOL!
