If she looks witchy, I expect that how she planned to look.

What's wrong with looking old? She is old.

And, for all I know, a bit witchy with it, not to mention the sassiness of choosing to look witchy ?

At least the dress is elegant. Some of the stuff people wear at these things – euw!

Don't like the hair and makeup but I doubt she cares what I think. I've never really been much of a fan, other than when she payed DI Tennison years ago.

She looks very fake, but I do like the dress.

I am not a fan of long straight hair never having it myself. Mine being naturally curly all my life and never really wore it long.
I think she suits shorter hairstyles and carries her age very well usually.

She’s been very poorly styled. Especially her hair.
I can’t imagine that she’s happy either.
And black shoes with a silver dress!

Breaking all the rules, Wearing hair extensions and loads of make-up. At her age. How dare she????

The Croydon Facelift isn’t a good look at any age.
And her eye make looks like it’s been done by a small child.
And her shoes match nothing but her eyeliner, so they both draw attention to each other.
I can’t help but think that there was some sort of wardrobe malfunction and things were done in a rush.

HM usually wears ‘a very strong lip’ (?) that would have balanced things out

I had a double take when I saw this photo I don’t like the new look she’s usually so well groomed and wears her hair and make up that suit her. This is not a good look.

No not a fan of her hair looks awful! But her dress is beautiful

She recently looked absolutely gorgeous all in pink.
I’ll see if I can find it.
So that we can all ‘ooh and ahh’ at her instead!

She can dress however she chooses to dress. I think she looks fine but I bet that dress was heavy

At the risk of being overly critical of the styling, that said HM & the dress are fabulous.

But the hair is too severe for the dress & detracts from HM’s delicate features rather than enhancing them.

Also, HM’s ears are a revelation, not her best feature.

The shoes are plain naff with that dress.
The make-up rather heavy handed.

I had to be told that the photograph was of Helen Mirren! And don't those shoes look uncomfortable? I'm sure her feet were 'killing her'.

Perhaps she's trying to give Madonna a run for her money lol anyway it's got her in the papers.

I googled by the way and the daily mail has pointed out her husband uses a walking stick wtf. Some people are bedbound or in care homes/assisted living in their 70s fgs or even actually dead

I think that photo has been airbrushed a bit as she looked far worse in some photos I’ve seen. It made me think a bit of how Madonna looks now. Very strange choice of hair and make up.

I just saw a picture from the back and those extensions are almost to her hips at the back I'm not sure how it was done though.
