why oh why do they put the adjusters on bra straps at the back, so that you can't tighten them up while wearing the bra?
Mine always seem to work loose and in days gone by I could adjust them from the front without getting undressed

Totally agree. I usually have to take the thing off about three times until I get it just right. hmm

Yes, why did they change the adjustment to the back ? it is extremely fiddly.

I usually end up sewing mine in the right position.

What a good idea smile

I assume bras are designed by men, why else are the ones that look good the most uncomfortable.

Just logged on and the bra straps thread has appeared under Frozen Shoulder! grin

Well I am not surprised after trying to fiddle with the back of the strap grin

I've got one bra which would be very good except that when adjusted, the buckle (must be a name for it?) ends up on the top of my shoulder. Very uncomfortable and wouldn't be if the adjuster (?) was at the front!

Only slightly related - bras. Why do M & S put the small ones at the top of the fitment and the large ones at the bottom? Is it not more likely that short people will wear the small ones and taller people the large ones? I asked them but the reply made no sense.

Same when I was working and bought work tights in Sainsburys, Big at the bottom and little at the top.

I can only think that some bloke decided this was the best way to display them.

I've noticed that too, Alison. It means I have to do a rather undignified crouch to search for my size on the lower racks!

It was OK in Sainsurys, I'd look round for a nice tall man and ask him to help me. It always made them feel they were rescuing a damsel in distress. Trouble is you never see one in the bra dept of M & S!

Well, you do occasionally see the odd husband/boyfriend lurking - but I don't think I'd be in a rush to ask one to assist me!
