How lovely they're re-releasing this book. Perfect for my DGD's birthday coming up.

I have always wanted to be able to draw. I wonder if it's something that can be taught? If so, I'd consider going on a course now, even at my advanced age.

That said, I might be unteachable. When I was about 12, my picture of a medieval farmer was held up to the class for ridicule.

It was history. Since when has history required the ability to draw livestock?

The book sounds great! Quote from blog: " the book was used in evidence at the High Court trial of Soviet spy Oleg Gordievsky in 1993, who testified that it gave away the KGB's tradecraft.

Wow! grin

Thank you Gransnet for the copy of Spycraft. It's awaiting wrapping for Number two Grandson's birthday. I'm sure he'll love it. It looks great, will keep him occupied for hours and will no doubt give much pleasure to the whole family.

Update - Grandson No 2 did love it and as predicted we are now all his victims. He's ten and it is so appropriate for his age group. All of his friends are now asking their parents for a copy of Spycraft. It will be perfect entertainment for the summer holidays for them and gets them interacting face to face instead of electronically. Thanks again for my copy.
