Many thanks for my copy which arrived this morning. My 4year old grandson thinks its brilliant. I like the illustrations, the expressions on George's face are just great...It's so funny. I'm sure families will be asking what their pets would do given the opportunity. The font works well with the artwork, look forward to hearing more about George.

I received a copy this morning, much to my delight, and thanks very much. It will be a few weeks before I see my youngest granddaughters, aged 3 and 5, but I'm sure they will love it.

I love the style and the colours, quite unusual but very effective.

Just read it before sending it off to the 3 year old who I think will love it. I love George's eyes and his long snout; good simple story line with a big ? mark at the end for the reader to decide what happens next and I love the smell of the book - a book has to smell good wink

Many thanks for my copy which arrived this morning. My twin grandchildren who are 5 will love it. They enjoy books that don't have too many words so that they can add their own thoughts, comments and ideas. George is a very cute character.

Many thanks for my copy. My Grandson wanted me to read it to him straight away and enjoyed it.(and so did I)

On behalf of my very happy 5 year old granddaughter we would like to thank you very much for our cop of "Oh No George" My GD managed the text very well her own and understood the story line perfectly well. She had masses of sympathy for George when he was tempted with the Cake, the Cat and the Soil, saying "but he can't help it grandma, he's only a dog". We loved the fact that the ending leaves you guessing "will he or won't he? " A delightfully simple book that will no doubt become a firm favourite .

Thankyou so much for the book, my granddaughter just loves it. The illustrations are super smile This morning she sat down with her baby brother and "read" it to him.....adorable!

Is it possible to amend, I missed the brackets out of my post?!!

amabazza Thu 18-Apr-13 14:26:01

ooh where can I get this book. My Dad died last December called George and my 3 year old Grandson adored him

My copy arrived whilst I was looking after GD aged 3 years. I read the book myself and then tried to read it to her but she wouldn't let me. I think it was the fact that the dog had the same name as her granddad, or maybe she has recently been scared by a dog hmm

Thank you so much for this book. GS1 will love it as he has just overcome a fear of dogs and now really identifies with them. I am sure this will reinforce that and that his younger brother will enjoy it too when he is a little older. In addition of course I will love reading it to them! smile

My granddaughter is just 15 months, but she loves books, and when I mind her next week, we'll read it together. Many thanks for my copy.

Must have missed this as I have been on holiday. Pity because our dog is called George and he is very mischievous! The GC's would have loved that!!

A simple but delightful, colourful book that proved perfect for my just turned two granddaughter. In fact she liked it so much I had to go through it four times in a row. Many thanks for the copy.

I was surprised and pleased to receive a copy of this book last week. I have looked through it already and think my six year old granddaughter will love it - I look forward to giving it to her when she next visits. It's bright, colourful and so unusual - I particularly love the last page where the child can decide what happens - can't wait to find out what she comes up with. Now that she is doing so well with her reading and as it is written in clear, bold print I am expecting she will be able to read it to me (a change from me reading to her)! Thank you so much.

Thankyou, I just have to decide which DGD is going to receive it!!

nonnasusie Wed 08-May-13 14:19:03

Thankyou for the print, my DGD has received it direct but my DD was a bit disappointed as it was badly packaged and therefore had a crease accross it when it arrived. Did anyone else have that problem?

DavidH22 Tue 14-May-13 09:16:52

Many thanks to matson who received my granddaughter's George print along with her/his own and forwarded it on to me. I'm very grateful and thanks again.
David.

What a hit this book is with my Grandson lost count of the number of times we have read it.
