I think this book should be compulsory reading for every mental health worker. It's beautifully written and opens a window into the life of someone suffering from mental illness. I found it quite difficult to read because it was so close to home (I have two brothers in law who have schizophrenia), but I'm so glad I did. Highly recommended.

I read this book and was moved by it. I had a close family member who suffered from schizophrenia too.

I read an amazing and absorbing book when I was on holiday in February: The Memory Palace by Mira Barton, with her sister, she grew up in a home where their mother was schizophrenic from when they were very young.

A fascinating subject.
