I have been using it for about 4 months. There is also a service called rb digital where you can download magazines for free, all you need is an up to date library number.

I’ve been using BorrowBox for a while.
The free audiobooks are excellent although I hope they extend the range available. I suspect it’s a budget constraint for Cork County Council and you might have a wider range to choose from in the UK?
I also have a 9yr old DS and I downloaded Stephen Fry reading the Harry Potter books on my iPhone. We’re currently listening to book 4 together in the evenings. I also recommended it to my DIL for my grandson.

Thanks for this, I’ve just emailed DD in Cornwall, their council has it listed on their website, but she didn’t know about it.
Our Council has something similar. So Thanks.

I recently discovered the Borrow Box which is run by the Library Service. You can download books, as many of you already do on your Kindles but what I like is there is any audio section and I am at present listening to one of the Alexander McCall stories as I work in the kitchen. It is so much more relaxing than listening to the news. Also it is totally free.

Check out if your Library Service offers it too. We need to support our libraries IMO.
