For fans of Susan Hill's Serailler series there is another book coming out soon. The last one ended with a cliff hanger and Susan Hill said there would be no more in this great series.
I'm really looking forward to finding out what happened.

It's out in October. Apparently his sister, Cat, marries his boss, the Chief Constable.

I've loved all the books.

Me too Merlotgran I was so disappointed when Susan Hill said she wasn't writing any more. Don't know why she changed her mind unless it was for financial reasons.

Only just seen this. I`ve been waiting ages for the next Serailler book, I didn`t know that Susan Hill had decided to call a halt, so pleased that she changed her mind.

After the bonkers plot of a senior police officer going undercover in a prison (no chance of being recognised then), Simon was beaten up and left dangerously ill in hospital. I think that was it.

Yes that was just about it Mamie it's been a while since the last book was published so think I will read it again so I can fully enjoy the new one. Sounds like there wil be some interesting developments.

There’s a follow up short (ish) story on Amazon that carries on from the last novel where Serrallier............

No I won’t give it away!

Mamie, Is it the same book where Simon's father is accused of rape?

I think I'd better read the last one again confused

Can't wait!

I think so merlot then Simon goes undercover to investigate a paedophile gang. I thought it was extremely far-fetched and not very good to be honest. I think it felt as if she was inflicting a ridiculous amount of misery on one family and the violet-eyed girlfriend got right up my nose.

I enjoy the books very much, but I don't find him very likeable.
