Book Club, November?

I haven't seen one either.It all seems a bit haphazard these days.

Not noticed it this month ??

I hope it’s not winding down. I look forward to the chance of getting the book and joining in with the discussion. Even if I’m rarely lucky these days!

No, I've not seen anything. Mind you, receiving the daily email is very haphazard these days - I'd not had one for several weeks, then one popped into my inbox a couple of weeks ago, but not had any since. They used to advertise the book of the month for the book club on this.

I've just received We Must be Brave. I think that's the November book - but I haven't seen a thread about it so maybe it was a giveaway.

I haven't heard of that one, Happiyogi. Then again I haven't had a daily newsletter for weeks. I've reported it to GN who said they'd look into it, but no joy yet.

I'm completely baffled now! I did a search for the book Happiyogi mentioned and came up with this:

Apparently it is November's book, but is still open for applications (so I've applied!). Go into Books and even GN Book Club and it's not there......

Thanks Maggiemaybe - I've been popping into Books and GN Book Club for a week now and nothing! In fact if you go to Books, there's still a link for September's book, never mind October or November

Though it seems less likely now that there are 20 paperbacks, 20 Kindle editions and 10 audiobooks on offer instead of just 50 books, and we have to choose which we’d like. I’d be happy with any!

Are Gransnet not doing the monthly Book Club anymore?
I had a rather large pile to finish and having read those, I thought I'd have a look on Gransnet for ideas.

I loved reading other peoples opinons on the recommended books.
