Thank you to everyone who has taken the trouble to sign the petition. At 0900 hours there were 1188 signatures. In the past three and half hours a further 25 signatures have been added some of which may have been from Gransnet members. Thank you.

Signed. Good luck on saving the food bank. Sadly they are desperately needed these days.

I have also signed- maybe a church will help you? That is what happens in my neck of the woods but admittedly they are part time.

In my experience, and certainly in my neck of the woods, businesses and individuals bend over backwards to accomodate food banks.
I would be very surprised if a petition is at all necessary in the circumstances, worthy though it is.

Again thank you to everyone who has signed the petition.

Yes, there are several churches involved with the Food Bank and all that FIND provides.

Let's hope some new premises will be found in the next few days.

Update - the FIND Families in Need Food Bank in Ipswich has been given until 14 Septemeber 2017 to find new premises.

Thank you for your support.

PS I donated some tins at a Tesco store recently and noticed amongst the packets and tins a pat of butter - which had been kindly been given but was melting rapidly! Store staff were very efficient and cleared it away promptly.
