Hi grannycool and welcome. We're all pretty new – gransnet has only just happened. I don't think there are any unspoken rules – everyone seems to me to go by the stuff that's been part of our lives all our lives. We tend to be polite and considerate, although that doesn't mean we can't express strong opinions. We don't seem to shy way from painful or difficult topics. Thanks for "lovely bunch" – I would say certainly a lively bunch. Just get in there on already existing topics or something you want to discuss and say what you think. By the way, this is my first time on a social networking site – and I am having a great time.
