I have realised that when I joined Gransnet a few weeks ago, I didn't say hello to you all, just barged straight in! So sorry. I am enjoying your company immensely. I'm 65, married 46 years, retired teacher od English / teacher trainer. Three married children, four wonderful ( of course!) grandchildren. Love to you all.

I think I just 'fell' into Gransnet as well! It is a lovely name, Ariadne. I think of it as being Edwardian...you'd be walking around the garden gathering flowers and wearing a large hat! smile

Hello Ariadne think most of us jumped in with both feet and didnt introduce ourselves, but over the months we have got to know each other.

Thank you! Have to say that my beautiful big hats are now packed away, as are the outfits that go with them. But I do have a sort of cheesecloth long dress.
