That's what is was. That and a load of fat. sad

And it's cancelled out completely the three mile walk I did this morning. sad

I was having an emotional breakdown over duvets. You can understand that, can't you?

The chocolate Father Christmas left behind by mistake by DS is no more and I'm still fat. sad And I gave it to him in the first place! shock

jingl Thu 05-Jan-12 14:17:21

it not is

jingl Thu 05-Jan-12 14:18:20

I feel sick and I've still got the duvets to sort out. sad

grannyactivist Thu 05-Jan-12 14:22:45

Not quite cancelled out jingl, exercise before eating continues to have a beneficial effect throughout the day. Let it go and move on - to the duvet sorting! smile

OK Granny-a.

Once more unto the breach. [brave]

jingl Thu 05-Jan-12 14:33:49

Granny-a. I think you are a universal Granny. smile

GoldenGran Thu 05-Jan-12 14:51:34

Oh .Jingl I sympathise, I have just thrown chocolate down the kitchen waste disposal unit it's the only way I could stop myself from eating it, I could easily find it if I had chucked it in the binblush How's the duvet sorting?

jingl Thu 05-Jan-12 14:59:30

It's coming on thank you Golden. The poppers are meeting up with the poppers and the velcro with the velcro.

I just hope the weather doesn't go mild again. hmm

JessM Thu 05-Jan-12 15:13:40

Muddy out there ain't it. Why do duvets insist on fighting back? It is only 12th night. The season endeth tomorrow. On no account go to Sainsburys and stock up on cheap tins of Q. Street. Chocolate withdrawal symptoms only last a day or two, honest !!!

Carol Thu 05-Jan-12 16:06:42

I've disposed of the cheaper chocolate but what do I do with the the posh ones? My family say they prefer Celebrations and Quality Street and always make sure I get Hotel Chocolat, which I have still not opened. I can manage one a day when not dealing with any emotional turmoil............

jingl Thu 05-Jan-12 16:33:34

Oh, scoff the lot quickly!!!!

What else?

How come you've still got 'em, anyway? hmm

Annobel Thu 05-Jan-12 16:40:22

Enjoy them without guilt Carol. When they're done, they're done. You weren't given them so that you could sit and admire the box!

JessM Thu 05-Jan-12 16:48:10

Oh yes get on with it Carol, unless you'd like me to call round and help. I could manage half a box of them any evening... Darn, I don't think you're close enough.

Seventimesfive Thu 05-Jan-12 16:57:12

Phew! Have just finished the last of the richest, most delicious chocolate biscuits in the world! My DD3 has given me some dark Marc de Champagne Truffles which are so rich that I can only manage one a week, (there are only 8 in the box thank goodness!). Every so often I feebly say that I don't want any more chocs, but no-one seems to take any notice. Luckily they do all know that I only like dark chocolate which of course is MUCH better for you. Just getting over a cold and as soon as I am fully fit I'm off to Hampstead Heath to walk off some of the Xmas goodies!

jingl Thu 05-Jan-12 16:58:25

Chocolate is good for colds.

jingl Thu 05-Jan-12 16:59:18

When I have a cold I get a strong desire to drink cocoa.

GoldenGran Thu 05-Jan-12 17:06:29

I can't read this thread any more wink It is making me want chocolate, and although I said I had thrown it away, I think I might have missed a little Hotel Chocolat reindeer.......

crimson Thu 05-Jan-12 17:17:31

..'the great British art of 'duvet wrestling'....

Seventimesfive Fri 06-Jan-12 11:19:27

Cold getting better - just a little more chocolate needed!
