It has come to my notice that it's some time since we did anything crazy like having a virtual party. Is there anything we can celebrate? A bit late for Valentine's, but surely there's some obscure saint or other that might give us an excuse reason for a knees-up. Any suggestions?

Feb 16 St Onesimus - patron saint of Onesies?
Feb 17 - St Evermod - hasn't dated?
Feb 20 - Martyrs of Tyre - punctures/RAC/AA?
Feb 23 St Milburga - guranteed free of horsemeat?
Feb 24 St Modestus - like many GNetters I can think of
also St Primitiva - the antithesis of St Evermod?

Afternoon tea is popular... what about a Mad Hatter's Tea party? That can happen any time. Cheshire cat grin

I have just read that February is Spunky Old Broads Month, so we could have a Spunky Old Broads party grin

I'll bring soft drinks if that's ok.

Love the ideas Grace

nanaej I'll come if I can drink coffee instead. Someone gave me long socks for Christmas which remind me of Alice every time I wear them.

On Sunday you can all come to a virtual wedding anniversary party if you like?

Galen Thu 14-Feb-13 10:01:21

Why did you have a virtual wedding then?

Movedalot Thu 14-Feb-13 10:03:25

A lovely afternoon tea with posh sandwiches scones etc would be lovely! Somewhere very elegant.

The Ritz of course!

LullyDully Thu 14-Feb-13 17:23:46

That has made my mind up..... tea it is {don't they also serve champagne with it now I think of it ?}

PS at lest if its virtual we don't have to foot the bill.
