Just seen the Waverley steaming past my window and now I'm off on the Queen Victoria.

Bon Voyage Galen! I'm going on the Waverley in September from Portsmouth to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. Went last year and it was such a good day out!

Blustery and raining in bonnie Kintyre. Good excuse to stay put and watch the tennis this afternoon.

April weather again today. Sunny at present but how long till the next shower? Must go out and get some salad veg and some money - I have precisely 1p in my purse! The car is covered in tiny white petals from the very large rowan tree under which it sits. Looks bizarre. The amount of blossom on the rowans presages a bumper crop of berries which will delight the blackbirds.
