Just had a phone call from my daughter who was visiting her grandparents grave my inlaws when she told me my mum and dads headstone has reappeared out the blue. I had to rush down to see if it was true. I was overwhelmed with joy. My sister who bought the lair stripped it when mum was put beside dad. The grave has lay bare since that horrible day. A poppers grave. So maybe she and her family do have hearts. I cannot forgive her and her family for the grieve they caused me. I love you mum and dad and I've put some flowers . Rest in peace mum and dad. Anne 09flowers

It would be nice to see the headstone there again, Anne09. Did your sister not agree with your mum being placed in the same grave as your dad? As she bought the 'lair', would that mean that you couldn't do anything about placing a memorial there for your parents? sad

We are not allowed to place anything on the grave. It will be looking good soon as we the family who loved mum and dad will make them proud .anne09

I'm glad, Anne09. After everything that you've done today, your heart will be warmed by the news. Things will seem more settled now.

When my mother in law passed away I was the executor and the will requested cremation and her ashes scattered in the same place as my father in law which I arranged.
This seemed logical as they had been married for just over 60 years.
Later I found out that a grave had been reserved for her by her side of the family but no provision had been made for my father in law.
