Yesterday, on Breakfast, Susanna Read asked Andy Murray what he was thinking in his mind when he became Wimbledon Champion? confused

Which bit of you does the most thinking?

Think with your toes, they are closer to the ground and give firmer thoughts, than those airy fairy thoughts people have in their head.

kitty always my feet if things are not going to well just walk away and tackle the problem another day or before I say too much, and my mouth when I have something nice to say I do tend to gush.smile

My hand, pen on paper, scribble thoughts until it all makes sense (at that moment)

My cheating SIL is certainly thinking with his d**k!

shysal don't know whether grin or send flowers. I imagine he's not the only one.

Thanks for the flowers, * kitty*, not much grinning going on!

Evidently my fingers these days, since I seem to have a laptop on the go rather too much of the time.

I have a sort of gear system that sometimes forgets to engage my brain before the thoughts are said aloud. grin

I think with my stomach far too often!

FlicketyB Tue 09-Jul-13 10:31:59

My mouth!! I actually arrive at more answers when I am telling someone about a problem than if I just think about it.

kittylester Tue 09-Jul-13 10:47:08

Sorry shysal I didn't mean to make light of an awful situation but the observation made me smile. You must be finding everything very difficult.

Nelliemoser Tue 09-Jul-13 11:04:39

I often talk it aloud particularly if its a practical, how do I mend this, make that issue.

Any more profound problems I agree with FlicketyB talkng it through helps. As with a number of posters on Gransnet. setting out the problem in writing helps you to think it through, as do the comments of others. It can help to get things back in proportion.

I find it even works for practical problems. A classic conversation in our household goes; 'I have been trying to work out how to...... Oh, I know what I could do....'
