Good morning all, hope everyone is well.

I am getting very excited! grin Tomorrow we are going to collect my birthday present car!

Mr P is taking the day off, we will drive to Exeter St David's station, get the train to Bristol then a short taxi ride to the garage. We are planning a leisurely drive back, stop for lunch somewhere and then to Exeter to pick up our other car.

I am hoping that the weather will be good so that we can have the roof down. I expect Mr P will drive from Bristol, but I'm not sure which car I will be driving back from Exeter. (It will probably be the Focus, as I prefer to pootle round the local area for a first drive, just to get a feel for it, big wuss that I am!)

gracesmum ours is Wednesday - it was an impulsive decision and the Friday was the only day available at the register office!

Enjoy phoenix but do remember whose car it is! Last time I bought a car all the 'boys' wanted me to choose the car they wanted to drive!

I sorted out the insurance yesterday, Mr P is only a named driver! grin

Having never driven one, it will be "interesting" to see how I get on with it!

Goodness knows how I will ever get to sleep tonight! It's a 14 year old car for heavens sake! Still, totally grin

Best birthday present ever, even though I'm not sure how I will feel driving it! (Providing I can actually get in the thing!)
