And it is a VERY good morning. Yesterday we finished 6 weeks and 3 days of Radiotherapy for DH's prostate cancer. Every day now is a good one. Actually looking forward to pottering round the house ALL morning and popping out to a garden centre ALL afternoon. All the staff and fellow patients at Clatterbridge [the hospital] made the time there so much easier than we had been thinking, no dreading, it would be. Counting my blessings now for all the lovely mundane things in our life and the time in which to do them without having a rigid timetable in place. x

Enjoy your regained freedom to do as you like when you like - well for most of the time! May life just be positive for you now.

Forgot the weather bit - lovely and sunny here this morning. There is a breeze but it is a nice one and not cold at all. sunshine

Rosie I was touched to see that you refer to WE throughout your post as if this is happening to both of you as a unit. Also wishing you sunshine so that youse can get out and about and enjoy yourselves.

DiL is at this moment in hospital hopefully in the middle of an elective caesarean. I'm running out of things to clean - now down to washing loose covers! How long does a caesarean take for heavens sake!

NFK About 20mins to get the baby out and a bit longer to sew back up I think. But it might have had to wait if someone needed an emergency C section. I hope all goes well.
