Good morning Mick and everyone.
Still dark so all I can say is it's dry. DH and I are going to see DGS first Christmas concert today. I'd better make sure I take tissues tchsmile

Good morning Mick , still dark here too.

Have a good one yourself.

Good morning everyone. Still very dark here on the North East coast. Work today and then picking the three little monkeys up for a sleepover. The house will look like a bomb has hit it by this time tomorrow!

Enjoy your DGS's concert nina tchsmile

Good morning everyone. Brilliant sunshine in sunny Durban. Company lunch today so we are all messing about at work and not really doing anything. All up to date anyway. Lunch at Circus Circus at the beachfront and those with nice figures can swim afterwards. Not me!! I will hold the towels. Bit different from England. Cheers.

Good morning from East Sussex. Still quite dark here but the fog/mist has cleared during the night and it's 8c outside. Everywhere quite damp and dismal.
Been awake since 3.00 and could go to sleep now but things to do and at least need to stay awake to make sure I sleep tonight.

Good morning all. Sunny today but still trying to drag myself out of bed. It's Friday the 13th - not that I am particularly superstitious - and today is Republic Day, one of Malta's many public holidays. Hope everyone has a good day sunshine

Sewsilver Fri 13-Dec-13 08:17:59

Good morning , no beautiful pink sky here today, just grey and drizzly. Not encouraging me to drag myself out of bed and start on today's List Of Things That I Can't Put Off Any Longer. Marty seems amazing to think of you there in sunshine.

Overcast in North Leicestershire and we are promised rain. As I'm feeling better today I am risking Sainsbury's and the butchers - deep joy.

Enjoy your days all.

PRINTMISS Fri 13-Dec-13 09:22:20

Good morning all, up late this morning after a really good nights' sleep, the first for about 4 nights and I usually sleep well any way, so it is a relief to get back to normal. So many people have sleeping problems and I feel really sorry for them. Uncertain weather here, going to have lunch with friends at Sainsburys, we know how to live! Then clearing the clutter which has accumulated during the week. Enjoy your days everyone.

Grey grey grey here in Kent. Lucky you printmiss I used to sleep well but lately.. Yawn. I'm tired now. Poor little mucusy little girl sitting on my settee. you know the look, cracked red sore cheeks, heavy streaming eyes. Trying hard to be happy for her nanna. Perhaps we will nap together later on. Hope so. Have a good day if you can on this grey day.

Charleygirl Fri 13-Dec-13 09:42:59

Drab and grey here in London but at least it is dry and not particularly cold.

kittylester Fri 13-Dec-13 09:48:01

Kiora - I quite like it when they are slightly poorly as it's a good excuse to snuggle up and watch read a book, watch TV or doze. Unless, of course they give you what they've got, as happened last week and resulted in 2 days in bed for me tchsad

AlieOxon Fri 13-Dec-13 10:23:03

Mornin' all.
I may be getting over my stinking cold - I hope. Still a bit catarrhy. Need to keep warm.
Don't know as yet if I will be able to sing on Tuesday!
Must get dressed.

BAnanas Fri 13-Dec-13 10:42:49

Thank you Sel, When and Kitty for birthday greetings. Hope you feel better soon Kitty. Have to change now from describing my age as late 50s to, barely 60, will keep that going for a good few years though!

Hot and sunny here in Igauzu, saw a number of large lizards basking in the sun yesterday, off to Rio tomorrow for six days and then back to the cold of England.

Pouring with rain here in Bideford; after such glorious days recently it's quite a shock. I may get down to wrapping some presents. Then again, I may not...
