They are all said to be do-able.

Sometimes I do it just to switch off my head from outside madness, other times, sheer determination grin

No pressure then, Agus! tchhmm
If I started trying to beat my own record, madness would surely ensue...

I time myself. So far, 1.05 is my best. Enjoy Kalexie

Don't start on Freecell there is no remedy for the addiction.

I recently changed to Windows 8 and there is not Freecell on there.
I discovered that there were new versions you could download which were horribly loud and clangy, and flashy and totally irritating. Not a bit bit like my lovely old dignified version.

After a lot of Googling I found a site which explained how to copy my old XP etc Freecell files to my new machine. On there were a lot of comments from people wanting their old Freecell back.

It was possible to copy the necessary files from my Windows XP version over to Windows 8 but it was a tad technical and might need someone who understands the jargon!
I am so pleased it's a familiar friend come back.
If anyone else has lost the old version I could dig out the details of how to do it.

With Freecell I started at number 1 and worked my way to about 800 and something and my self imposed rule was to have to complete each one before moving on.

I was addicted to Freecell for years.

Now I am addicted to online jigsaw puzzles.

I don't have a 100% success rate, but I find it much easier than Spider Solitaire, which I swear has been made more difficult in recent years...tchhmm

I have done 1136 with 100% win. The only tip I can give you is, you can always win the computer.

After reading about Freecell on another thread yesterday I decided to have a game. I can see how it can become addictive. It's much harder than Solitaire but I wonder if I'm missing something. Any tips from the more experienced players please?
