Good Morning Saturday

Got bright this afternoon - not very warm though.

I went out in the front garden to do some weeding and guess what the people next door but one came out with two of the large scary Alsatians five minutes later...I haven't seen them out for months.
On leads, but I removed myself off the pavement and out of the way!

I have been up a while, just haven't managed to get here It was dull, then sunny for about 15 mins we now have a fine mizzle and grey skies.
DH will be enjoying the rugby fest later. I will have one eye on TV whilst doing jigsaw.

Lona, I must get up later than you! The sun switched itself on about twenty minutes ago and there is a gentle breeze. Last night I saw a brilliant production of Anna Karenina at the Royal Exchange. Can't describe it. You have to see it!

Wish there was sun here like yesterday.....coldish and dull. Hope for better later, I want to get in the garden again.

Much better in mid Essex nannotgran - bright but beginning to look unsettled. Too cloudy to see the eclipse but DSIL who lives in Cumbria and is a keen photographer has emailed a series of lovely photos he took.

Good morning all from South Wales. Lovely and sunny here. I am currently eating breakfast in bed as I have had a very stressful working week and was shattered coming to bed last night. Going shopping and out to lunch with my best friend later going to order myself some new furniture.

Good morning! I am in Cheltenham with DS2 and family, and the sun is shining here as well. They were all at the premiere of "Cinderella" in London on Thursday night, and the little girls (9 & 11) were shattered by the end of school yesterday; so far only one has emerged, briefly!

Exercise class first, then coffee with my friends and then we're lunching at a new Argentinian restaurant.
It's a hard life, but someone's got to do it!

Good morning all from the glorious south east coast. Brilliant morning, hope it lasts, such a change from yesterday's dismal cloud and cold. Why is it loopylou that we always have to do the edges of the lawn - most of my friends find themselves doing this, is a natural trait of the men to leave the tidying up to the women! We have patchy cloud and sunny spells in Northumberland this morning. Looks promising. I have come back to bed. By the end of the week, getting up at 3am is a struggle! Will get up again in time for lunch.

DH mowed the lawn yesterday for first time this year, so I need to get out there and sort out the raggedy edges today.
