Grey here too in Norfolk. Dry now but there's obviously been quite a bit of overnight rain.

Off to meet a friend for coffee at Redwings Horse Sanctuary just up the road. And maybe pet a horse or two. They're all very soppy there.

Good morning from a grey damp Colchester. Beautiful sunny day yesterday followed by a spectacular evening thunderstorm. Today is going to be showery, ideal weather for painting the living room.

Good morning from the south coast,where the weather is the same as it is everywhere else, cloudy and dull. I have another blood test this morning - what do they do with all the blood they take - there must be an ocean of it somewhere! Other than that not a lot planned, so probably the ironing will get done. Enjoy your days.

Morning all. Our weather is like that of most others - bit cloudy, an odd shower but isn't it nice to have some longer days?

I've done the ironing, caught up on all the threads and made a list of what I have to do this week. Starts with a visit this afternoon from an old friend who is on his way elsewhere but wants to call in to see us en route. Looking forward to catching up on news of our previous home village which we left in 2012 to move to the south coast near DD.

Its a dull , grey , overcast morning here in our part of Essex but I did enjoy the display of thunder and lightening yesterday evening as a big storm rolled through.

Its a waiting game today , British Heart Foundation are coming to pick up all the dining room furniture. Then the difficult job of finding the right grey for the walls - who knew there were so many choices ?

It's not raining here in Lancashire, that's the main thing.
Visited Mum in care home yesterday and she's much improved, talking a little and eating independently.
