Morning Mick, morning All

Very soggy here in Norfolk this morning. Obviously a lot more rain / sleet fell last night. The outside temperature thingy says it's 5C.

We managed a short walk with DGS yesterday, and the sun broke through just for that hour and it was quite warm, but then the rain - and cold - came back. We'd hoped to go for a sail today, but I'm not keen. Strictly a fair weather sailor these days..... Perhaps just lunch and watch others!

Good morning Mick and everyone.
It's dry and bright in West Lancashire too but it has turned very cold.
Family coming for Sunday Lunch today. Roast beef and Yorkshire pud. Apple pie and custard.
Hope you all enjoy your Sunday.

Good morning all.
A bright start here again today. A day of contrast yesterday. Very warm then 15 mins of hail which gave a very wintery picture and then a lovely sunny evening.

Good morning from sunny Colchester.Cold here but the rain is over for now. Journey home yesterday was through every combination of weather.
I am home and back to a pile of laundry and a full dishwasher. DH and DS think that these are my province.

Good morning everyone.
The sun is up, the sky is blue, it's been frosty here in Tynedale. I'm still in bed, but must get up as the sun is shining right on my face. DS coming for lunch. We're having chicken fajitas salad etc., and sticky toffee pudding.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.

It's bright but cold here in North Leicestershire but there was overnight frost - I hope all the new plants I bought (and have not yet put in) have survived.

Today we have roast pork and baked apples on the menu. Two of DH's brothers and a sister in law are visiting and we are having a weekend of reminiscing - I'm a bit bored now!

Enjoy your Sundays everyone.sunshine

Good morning to you all, we have a cloudless blue sky, and the sun through the windows is really warm, but I suspect the temperature outside is a little chilly. Not a lot doing today, unless it warms up, when I will be in the garden. Must make sure I do not do too much, after a very strenuous game of bowls - my first outdoor game which I thoroughly enjoyed, and our team not only won, but also received a biro for Top Rink (wow!). Enjoy your days.

We escaped the rain in N Kent yesterday and overnight. It's a bright sunny morning if slightly chilly. GSx2 stayed over night. But did as asked and woke mummy at 7.45 not H and I grin

Morning All. Bright blue sky in our corner of Somerset. Not been out yet to test the temperature. Garden tidy today then roast chicken dinner, my favourite. Hope Sunday is kind to you.

Morning all! Lovely sunny start to the day after a lot of rain and even a hail shower yesterday. Quite unusual to see hail here on the S.E. Hampshire coast. It was cold too.

Expecting a visit from DD and DGC at some time today - just a "pop in" visit which will be lovely.

I am going to cook a piece of gammon for lunch - probably following Delia's method. Never known to fail!

Happy days everyone. sunshine

Morning all!
Glorious sunshine here in Wiltshire after a frosty start. Sausages for lunch because I forgot to take the chicken out the freezer ? and I quite fancy bangers and mash with onion gravy!

Good afternoon, cold but bright day after a harsh frost first thing.
Quiet day today after GC visited yesterday. GD1 is in the budding dress designer phase and the music room floor was covered in screwed up sheets of paper, perfectly lovely little drawings but obviously did not come up to her own standard.

Lovely sunny day, but chilly. On our morning walk by the River Thames this morning we were amazed to see the royal barge, The Gloriana go by. I did think, aah must be St George's Day, but on checking I see that's next Saturday, so I guess they were practising for that or for the Queen's 90th birthday looming on the horizon I believe.
