Good Morning Everyone,
its a bright and dry start and sunny here in Brackley this morning.
Got back late from London , so up as usual, Motown was even better the second time around.

Good morning Mick, morning all.

I missed yesterday morning as we had to get going quickly. It is a bright start in North Leicestershire. Glad you enjoyed Motown again Mick. I am hoping that it will tour as I'd love to see it.

Enjoy you Fridays sunshine

Good morning all.
A bright start in Stockport and a good forecast for the weekend.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Nice sunny start here in South Yorkshire. We will be in the throes of packing today as we are driving down to West Wales tommorrow for a week with our children and grandson. Touch wood, the weather forecast for next week looks pretty good. Have a good day, all, whatever is floating your boat!

Good morning to you all, likewise a bright start here on the south coast. We have had a ragged couple of days, neither of us has been well, and so I hope the brighter morning will help. The o.h. is waiting for two hospital appointments, one because his psa has risen (that is the prostrate cancer test) and the other a neurological test, plus he has to go to the DVLA driving eye-test which one minute he is convinced he will pass, the next worried that he will not drive again. Sorry that is a lot to off-load on to you all, but we will enjoy our day, as I hope you all will.

Clear blue skies in N Kent.
Just had a call from D she's broken down a couple of miles away on her way to work. So will need my car. That's my plans scuppered xx

Good morning everyone.
Another grey start in the Tyne Valley but not raining as yet. DH wanted to go somewhere and do something as it's his day off, but I didn't get much sleep last night and had to go to work at 04.00, so now I'm back in bed. That's me until lunch time!
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all! Bright and sunny start here on SE Hampshire coast.

It's DH's 74th birthday today so we are expecting a visit from DD and DGD (DGS is at scout camp) and then we are going for a pub lunch.

I asked him what he would like for his birthday and he requested two new wheels for his bike - so that's what he got! Plus a big box of Ferrero Rocher and a new coffee mug. He seems happy!

PRINTMISS keep your pecker up - you sound to have a lot on your plate right now and I hope things turn out better than expected. flowers

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Looks like it's going to be a nice day. DH is due back tomorrow so I am bracing myself for a ton of smelly laundry by resting today. Maybe a walk to get a joint for Sunday. The rest of the shopping is being delivered but I like to browse the butcher or Aldi, depending on how flush I feel ?

Sunny day here on the edge of London. Just had the shock of my life upstairs tidying up, turn round hearing a mewing and come face to face with a beautiful silver tabby, sadly not ours but lives across the road. Husband must have inadvertently let her in when loading car seat into his car to pick up our grandson who we are having for the day. She is an incredibly friendly cat and quite unusual not so many silver tabbies around but heavens she did make me jump out of my skin shock

NanaandGrampy Fri 05-Aug-16 08:44:06

morning all !!

Its a bright and sunny start here today.

Grampy is still decorating and I am prepping for the arrival for an overnight stay of DGS3 and 4. It'll be an exciting one as this is DGS4s first time not in his cot...I can see a lot of getting up and down :-)

Good morning to you all!

Late this morning as I have been fiddling in the garden.

printmiss hope your day turns out fine. I am on South Downs so like you it is a lovely start to the day and not so windy which I hate.

Mums day today, but before I go I want to take some penstemon and lavender cuttings as I am planning to make a lavender edge to one if my rose beds and infill with penstemons and salvias(I think) - haven't quite made my mind up about the salvias yet.

Easy dinner tonight after Mums stuff.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Gorgeous morning in Tiptree, heading to the RHS Hyde Hall flower show very shortly. (credit card at the ready -- but do I really need any more plants ?)

I just popped to say that I'm so pleased that you have your operation date ann. Also having 'nursed' DH through two knee replacements, I agree with all the others in that you will need help when you get home. DH didn't need any actual nursing of course but he needed far more help than either of us expected when he was discharged. Five days after first op and three after second. Hospitals discharge people so quickly now and often forget the all important aftercare.
I'm glad that you will soon be rid of the pain.sunshine

You too soop you have been very patient with all the delays and cancellations, it will be good when it is done.
I'm hopeful that you will show us the new style. Having been growing my hair so that it is long enough to put up, I can't decide what do do next, apart from cut it, hmm

Good morning.
Bright so far this morning. Going to visit mum shortly and taking GD if she ever gets out of the shower.

OH,Lordy! just came back to this - the test is for PROSTATE cancer, not PROSTRATE I had a feeling when I typed that the first time it was wrong, went back, checked! Really, I am fine, thanks for all the kind messages. The sun is shining the washing on the line.
