It's so dark here too in Surrey .. it still feels like the middle of the night ! And the clocks go back tonight... what a gloomy thought hmm .

Morning!

Very mild here and another dry autumn day. Yesterday was glorious - what a lovely autumn!! Getting up to date in the garden. Tulip bulbs arrived yesterday so must plant them some time -no rush though. Red Virginia climber looking fabulous and stayed as no wind or rain. Once finished will cut down and only allow it limited space next year as want to encourage a climbing hydrangea although it is obviously a tough plant as seems to be holding its own.

Still in chaos, but kitchen beginning to take shape. Still picnicking though and milk in the garden to keep cool.

I am going to try and start cleaning today, and everywhere is covered in dust. Start in conservatory and close the door on it to keep clean hopefully

My foot is playing up not sure if it is arthritis or something else but can't really walk on it - OK pottering indoors but really too painful if I go walking.

This thread is like a diary to megrin

Good morning everyone, a dull but warm (for the time of year) start to the day here in Coventry.

I will be working in the garden later, cutting back shrubs and picking apples, more wine making tomorrow. No excuse with an extra hour to be chopping and mashing!

Hope everyone achieves their aims today.smile

Good morning from cloudy Colchester. Very warm here for the time of year.
We are going to the local theatre matinee to see Sweeney Todd today and then home for Strictly.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Grey and slightly misty start in South Yorkshire, but mild. DH is going to footie this p.m. so I have an afternoon to myself! I will probably spend so much time wondering what to do with it that it will be gone in a flash! Have a good day folks.

Morning all!

Very mild and cloudy here on the south coast. DH is off for most of the day with his cycling club so I have a day to myself with not a lot on the agenda. There's lots I could be doing but the big question is do I want to do any of it? Hmmm. I'll have a ponder.

Happy days everyone! sunshine

Good morning all.
Damp here in Stockport as it was yesterday.
My D and GD went home yesterday, it was lovely to see them but I am so tired, I'm afraid age and life is catching up with the body whilst the mind is still 45/50ish.
