I just saw that too what a shame so young but then she did abuse her body for years if what they say is true.

Goodness me.
How sad.
Most of the celebrities young or old who have passed away this year will have lived their lives to the full and will have done or achieved things that most people can only dream of.

Richard Adams (Watership Down) has died too apparently - heard on the news. So very many this year - it's just amazing. Hope the Queen recovers from her cold before the end of this year!!!

I agree that many of those in the public eye who have died this year probably lived very different lives to us, and may have over-indulged in various substances at some stage.

But no one's perfect and it's still sad that so many die in their prime.

Yes Ana, it's sad to see so many people who have entertained so many, did at relatively young ages. Their lifestyles mean they have more money and different pressures than most of us, I expect copious amounts of alcohol and substance use, illegal or prescribed ias been the backdrop to much of their lives. Rip Carrie Fisher

Carrie Fisher was such a talented and funny person, I really hoped she would pull through. And how awful for Debbie Reynolds, burying a child is a terrible thing to go through. I hope Carrie's family is surrounded by a lot of love and support.
