Morning Mick, morning All. Dark and wet here too. Looking after Littlest today who is wide awake so an active day ahead. Would be good if the rain stopped for a while. Hope Monday is kind to you.

Morning Mick, morning all.

I was a bit worried about you this morning Mick

It's dark and very rainy in North Leicestershire. I'm going out for a pub lunch in the village with some old friends so I will get wet!

Enjoy your days everyone.sunshine

Morning Corner!!

Morning All

Dark and chilly here in Norfolk.

Nothing planned again today although I must ring for the tree surgeon to come and look at our walnut tree. It's getting rather large and is lopsided since our new neighbour cut their side back to the boundary. (And then complained that they didn't get any walnuts!)

Good morning. It's dry at the moment in Lancashire but I'm sure it won't last.
I'll be busy house clearing at my Mum's again today and visiting her at the care home too. No doubt I'll be having a nap later this afternoon.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A wet, dreary start in South Yorkshire this morning. DH was up a few times in the night with an upset stomach so I didn't get a lot of sleep either. We won't be doing very much today I reckon, but school run later. Have a good day folks.

Good morning everyone from a bitterly cold Malta - yes, we do have cold winters sometimes. Seemed to skip winter last year but not this year. Brrrr!

I am meeting a friend for coffee later which will be lovely. Just can't decide whether to walk or take the car .hmm

Also, have to take the dog to have his stitches removed at some point, in fact I had better call the vet to see what is the best time to go.

Wishing you all a good day whatever you are doing. sunshine

Good morning, mild and damp here in the north east. No plans for today.

Rinouchka Mon 16-Jan-17 08:15:55

Good Morning everyone. No change in weather from yesterday here.
Laundry, Pilates, walk in that order this am.
Simple, open house lunch here post walk.
Happy Monday!

P.S. Must write a couple of New Year cards to French friends. Fortunately, it is allowed to do this up to end of Jan. Missed a couple in the pre-Christmas posting.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Cold and damp, yuk!
Walking Netball starts again today and I really enjoy it. But first a bit of housework.

Good morning everyone.
It's dull and grey in the Tyne Valley. Today I must ring Argos and arrange for delivery of my new kitchen table and chairs. While I have been away over the weekend, they've left two messages on the phone. DH is useless, he never checks the phone for messages.
Have a good day everyone.

PRINTMISS Mon 16-Jan-17 09:16:26

Good morning to you all, although the 'good' bit is not really relevant, as it is damp and dreary again. Spoke to my daughter on the phone yesterday, and all three of them have the most awful cold, so I have told them to keep away. They all travel about 8 miles to work, and because of the train strike it has been taking them 2 hours for the one journey. Glad I am retired. Enjoy your days.

Good Morning and what a surprise, yet another miserable grey January morning hmm
January is however half way over (is that all?) so could be worse!
A talk on Goya and seeing my Art History friends again to look forward to, I was bedbound last week and sad to miss the class.
Wishing you all a pleasant day and recovery from the germs and bugs ???

ninathenana Mon 16-Jan-17 09:39:12

Morning all.
A late one for me, I didn't wakeup until 8.45 am. When I opened the curtains it was sunshine but by the time I'd washed and dressed we were back to the gloom sad

whitewave Mon 16-Jan-17 09:41:40

Good morning everyone

Gloom here as well. On a more cheerful note only a couple of months and we will be in Summer Time!!

January is not a good time for me, but ever onwards and upwards.

Good morning everyone from N London. I slept late too - it's so dark and dreary here again, another day of rain forecast. So much for my New Year resolution of going out for a walk each day. Don't mind when it's cold and sunny but might just as well run on the spot in the shower when it's raining! My umbrella has broken anyway ... sad

Morning ( late-ish) from a grey and rainy Oxfordshire.Am still slurping tea, and really must get moving. After years of rushed mornings and deadlines it's lovely not to have to get anywhere and forget the clock though.smile

Good morning all.
Another late one here from murky Stockport.
I have had problems with the site this morning, I have been asked to sign in 3 times and one of those was to post a comment on this thread. It didn't improve my mood or add to my wellbeing.
