Morning Mick, morning All. Seems to be dry in our corner of Somerset, we’re forecast a cold but sunny day. Not at all sure what I’ll do today, little sleep so suspect not much. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Good morning from Birmingham. It’s 6.28 and someone in Moseley is letting off fireworks!
Coffee with friends this morning, then a visit later this afternoon from my second daughter, her husband and my little granddaughter here from London to see me after my operation.
Just having that first delicious early morning cup of tea.

Lowering clouds and heavy rain showers here in the north of Norfolk. Hopefully it should clear later so we can get the tubs in town planted as our plans were rained off yesterday.

(I usually wake between six and half past, so of course I’ve been up since five thirty this morning!)

Morning everyone so far and to those who follow. We have frost here in Fife today, hopefully the sun will appear later. Glad to say that DGS2 is improving in hospital slowly but getting there. Poor wee soul, it's been a worry. DGS1 has been brilliant with all the upset and routines being changed. Everything will settle into place, I know it. Thank you all for your good wishes, it means a lot. Hope the day goes well for all.

Very grey with strong winds in Kent. We've had some over night rain and more is forecast.
I don't think DH will make it to the allotment this morning.
Lazy day for me with the papers and jigsaw.

I seem to have acquired DH'S virus and have a sore throat, cough and cold. I was congratulating myself on avoiding it!

Luckily, we gave nothing on today though I must replenish the bird feeders.

It's cold and breezy here on the south coast with grey clouds. I find it really difficult to adjust to putting the clocks back as I still waken at what feels the right time only to find it is an hour too early. (4.30 this morning). Hey ho.

We are having a family pub lunch today before DS and family return to Essex after a lovely weekend visit. I love having them but boy are they noisy? Teenagers all seem to talk over each other in increasingly loud voices.

Hope the day is a good one for us all.

Hope the weather dries up later as we need to clear the tat out of the car. We are trading it in tomorrow. That means we can leave that clock change to the new owner.

I'm going to attempt making roast turkey (DH's favourite) in the newly connected cooker. Unfortunately we still don't have a working sink, so scrubbing the roasting pan will be quite problematic.

Dull and wet here in N. Bucks. Still feeling under par with a cold and cough. Not aiming to do much today,Aubrey some crafting if I can muster the energy.

Morning all! Sounds damp outside today but the blind is still down! DH up early to get to Burnley for a football match at 1:30. Plan to make Christmas cakes today before heading to the hospital later this afternoon for an MRI scan for my poor old back!

Good morning all, it's damp and looks very chilly here in Northampton. Was planning on cutting the grass today, but the ground will be too wet after yesterday's heavy rain. So just going to potter.
Lovely time with DGD at West Side Story yesterday, a brilliant amateur production. Took her out for tea after which was much enjoyed.

Good Morning All from a beautifully sunny but parky Merseyside. Fed the cats and now the squirrel is waiting with folded arms as if to say " where's mine ?" A never ending stream of feeding animals,but I love it.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining in South Yorkshire but it is “nitherin’”. We are going to couple a local walk with junior football later as they are playing near here, though GS won’t be playing as he is on holiday. good luck with the new oven, Marydoll.
